Happy summer! By now the vines are as green and lush as can be. The grapes will begin to change color any minute, now, which is the annual signal to the winemaker to start getting ready for crush. Before you know it we'll being doing sugar tests and the 2010 harvest will begin!
We've got some terrific new-release reds that are perfect for the grilled chicken, steak and ribs we all love so much this time of year. Be sure to come in and taste the 2008 Girard Old Vine Zinfandel, the 2006 Burgess Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2004 Ilona Howell Mountain Red Blend. Check out our events calendar so you can time your visit for a fun food pairing!
