About the Wine

A classic Meritage in style and substance, it is truly a handcrafted blend of the finest Cabernet grapes. We also grow and blend a portion of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Melbec and Petit Verdot in keeping with the traditional style. These grapes best demonstrate the concentration of mountain grown fruit at the highest level.

Aged mostly in new French oak barrels, repeated racking from barrel to barrel helped keep the flavors and aromas in balance. The resultant dark, deep purple wine has a richness that is very forward in the nose, while multi-faceted layers of spice and fruits linger from the first taste to the incredibly long-lasting finish. This wine can easily be enjoyed now and can also be cellared for many years.
