Sumptuous flavors of black cherries and Santa Rosa plums are underlied by a hint of minerality. Spicy floral aromas complement the palate. Moderate French oak and medium tannins result in a wine very complimentary to food.

A cool spring gave way to a warm summer, which developed Pinot Noir’s fruit flavors magnificently. Beautiful fall weather allowed the fruit to hang until perfect ripeness was achieved. The grapes were harvested late in September, seven weeks after the start of veraison.
